You can help impoverished children 

Please take the time to watch the 6 minute video, Chicken a la Carte by Ferdinand Dimadura, that highlights the joy that food can bring to an impoverished child. We feel that there are too many children around the world that find themselves fighting to stay alive each day and that's why we need your help. Children living in poverty do not just lack finances — these children often go without food, water, health care and education. According to UNICEF, 26,500-30,000 children die each day due to poverty. And they “die quietly in some of the poorest villages on earth, far removed from the scrutiny and the conscience of the world. Being meek and weak in life makes these dying multitudes even more invisible in death." Each year, more than 10 million impoverished children do not make it to their 5th birthday. Half of these deaths are linked to malnutrition.

Despite these horrific statistics, there is hope. Each one of your contributions allows us to buy food or water to impoverished children from poor stricken areas. We want to thank you for your contribution. By contributing, you are not only helping provide the basic needs for impoverished children, you are also putting smiles on their faces. Thank you!

 The Vision
In our opinion, no child should be without food, clean water, clothing, shelter, education, basic health care and the opportunity to contribute to society.  By contributing, you give us the resources to help one child at a time with those necessities. Our mission is simple - buy the items that the children need from the local area (where available) and distribute them directly to the deprived children.

 Who are we?
We are individuals who have witnessed some horrific and life-altering images during our travels to Asia, South America and Africa.  We have been to areas where tourist don't dare venture to; and a result, don't have the misfortune to see real helpless poverty. We are grateful for what we have and want to give deprived children more of what they need. Unfortunately, we can't do it alone and that's why we started this website. Please help us in our battle to bring smiles to children around the world.

 Why us?
The reasons are simple. Most organizations outsource the donation portion of their "business" to other companies, costing donors and recipients money. Charitable organizations have staff, facilities, etc., all funded by your donations. According to the a recent report, “Patterns of Household Charitable Giving by Income Group, "less than one-third of the money that individuals give to charity goes to causes that serve the needs of poor". In our case, we are using all of your contributions to buy food, water and/or clothing for deprived children that we encounter during our travels. Since we are not a a charitable organization, your donations are not tax deductable. This way we can assure that all of your contributions are going directly to the needs of  impoverished children.
